In November, Lindblad Expeditions funded an international workshop whose objective was to create a Galápagos Institute. This Institute is dedicated to inspiring local residents to incorporate into their work lives an understanding that the maintenance of natural systems is essential for human prosperity. For each guest booking one of our Galápagos departures traveling from January 1 - June 30, 2008, we will donate, in each traveler's name, $250 to support this campaign.
