A Galapagos cruise aboard the 48-guest National Geographic Islander offers an intimate platform for an expedition in this volcanic archipelago. A hallmark of the Lindblad Expedition experience, our team of three expert Naturalists and an Expedition Leader are always available to identify whales from the deck of Islander or tailor the day’s hike to your preferred activity level. And her Captain is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to change Islander’s course to pull alongside a rare whale shark or position the ship to observe a sea turtle migration.
We offer a multitude of options for exploring any Galapagos Island, including some shore landings before breakfast and costal explorations from Zodiacs and kayaks. We’ll provide you with a properly fitting wetsuit and snorkeling gear that are yours for the expedition—no need to pack your own. Jump in and go snorkeling in deep water with sea lions, or join some members of our friendly expedition team in the shallows for practice. We have the resources to add depth to your experience – and every activity we offer on board is included in the price.
After a day of exploring. relax in one of Islander's hammocks stretched across the deck or take a massage in the LEXspa.
