Recipe Detail

Mudslides BACK TO RECIPES
Yields approximately 50 cookies

4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
2 oz. flour (by weight)
¾ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
4 eggs
12 oz. sugar (by weight)
1 tsp. vanilla
14 oz. chocolate chips
¼ lb. chopped walnuts
  1. Melt chocolate in a bowl over hot water.
  2. Beat eggs with the sugar and salt until pale.
  3. Gently stir in chocolate.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Sift flour and baking powder together.
  6. Whisk flour mixture into batter.
  7. Fold in the chips and nuts.
  8. Scoop with a level one-ounce ice cream disher. Place 6 X 4 onto a lined sheet pan.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until tops are just cracked.
Do not overbake. Centers should be gooey, hot out of the oven.
