INGREDIENTS TO COAT 2 SIDES OF SALMON SERVING APPROXIMATELY 20 PEOPLE
1 Cup Tamarai Soy Sauce
1 1/3 Cups Light Brown Sugar
2/3 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
3 TBSP Fresh Garlic, Finely Minced
1/2 Cup Onion, Finely Minced
2 TSP. Fresh Ginger, Finely Minced
2 TBSP. (+/-) Cornstarch, Dissolved In ¼ Cup Water
PREPARATION:
- Combine all of the ingredients except the Cornstarch in a large saucepan.
- Simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the garlic and ginger have begun to infuse their flavors into the sauce. this will take about 5-8 minutes.
- Pour in the dissolved cornstarch and continue to simmer until the sauce has thickened, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes.
