Teriyaki Sauce for' Salmon BACK TO RECIPES
(Also very good with chicken or vegetables)

INGREDIENTS TO COAT 2 SIDES OF SALMON SERVING APPROXIMATELY 20 PEOPLE

1 Cup Tamarai Soy Sauce
1 1/3 Cups Light Brown Sugar
2/3 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
3 TBSP Fresh Garlic, Finely Minced
1/2 Cup Onion, Finely Minced
2 TSP. Fresh Ginger, Finely Minced
2 TBSP. (+/-) Cornstarch, Dissolved In ¼ Cup Water

PREPARATION:
  1. Combine all of the ingredients except the Cornstarch in a large saucepan.
  2. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the garlic and ginger have begun to infuse their flavors into the sauce. this will take about 5-8  minutes. 
  3. Pour in the dissolved cornstarch and continue to simmer until the sauce has thickened, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes. 
THIS SAUCE CAN BE REFRIGERATED FOR UP TO A WEEK. BE CAREFUL NOT TO CROSS CONTAMINATE THIS SAUCE WHEN SPREADING ONTO THE RAW SALMON OR CHICKEN.
