Rattleless Rattlesnakes in Baja California

Guests aboard National Geographic Sea Bird in Baja California were treated to a sighting of the rare rattleless rattlesnake, endemic to Isla Santa Catalina. The isolated islands dotting the Sea of Cortez are home to so many endemic species that it is often referred to as ‘The Galápagos of Mexico.’ If you’re interested in exploring these singular islands, take a look at our Baja California cruises.
