Grosvenor Teacher Fellows in the Arctic

A teacher from Central Nebraska joined us aboard National Geographic Explorer in the Arctic last week as a Grosvenor Teaching Fellow. In this video he describes his experience to the local NBC news station.

Since 2007, Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic has awarded this field-based professional development opportunity to hard-working educators. It is given in recognition for teachers’ commitment to geographic education, a component of education of particular importance to the fellowship’s namesake, Gil Grosvenor, the former chairman of the board of trustees and editor of National Geographic Magazine.
