Yesterday NASA’s image of the day came from East Antarctica, where several ice flows converge leading to the creation of some massive icebergs. The process can sometimes take decades. This satellite image shows where three giant cracks in the ice meet, and what has become a giant tabular iceberg nicknamed Amery’s “loose tooth.”
