See abundant marine mammals
The Sea of Cortez is host to an incredibly diverse population of marine mammals. With our 30+ years of experience sharing Baja California with curious travelers, we know where to find them. You’ll see pods of dolphins, snorkel with sea lions, and we’ll be on the lookout for any of the numerous species of whales that spend time in the Sea of Cortez—part of the joy of an expedition is standing on deck with binoculars in hand, watching for whale spouts.
Perfect for a shared family adventure
Travel + Leisure named us the #1 Family Friendly Small-ship Cruise Line for four consecutive years. We offer families more than simply the chance to share the learning experience Baja affords—the opportunity to play together. Baja California’s wild places bring out the kid in everyone, which gives parents and children the rare opportunity to genuinely “be” together in a totally natural way—sharing shipboard life, sharing activities, sharing the knowledge, and creating a genuinely collective family memory.
Every day is active and engaging
You’ll be able to hike through forests of towering cacti and up striking desert canyons. You’ll take expedition landing craft along the shore to see and shoot photos of plunge-diving pelicans and blue-footed boobies, and you’ll have the option to walk or kayak, and to join a different naturalist as you choose: there are no assigned groups. See more of what you’ll do.
