1) Information Collected
We collect two types of information from you: i) information that you voluntarily provide to us through our email and brochure sign-ups, and through a voluntary registration process when you request a reservation; and ii) information that is derived through your web browser and automated tracking mechanisms.
In order to request a reservation on our site we will collect personal information about you. The information will include your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, date of birth. We do not collect personally identifiable information about you except when you specifically provide such information to us on a voluntary basis.
Lindblad Expeditions will use the information you provided in your reservation request in order to: process your request, bill you for your deposit, provide you with documents needed for your voyage, communicate with you ongoing regarding your voyage and to communicate with you in the future about our products and services.
We collect personally identifiable information when you choose to use certain other features of the Site, including: i) consenting to receive email, and ii) consenting to receive our brochures via mail. When you choose to use these additional features, we require you to provide your contact information, such as name, address, email address and phone number. Occasionally, we may also request information such as your travel preferences and other interests which will help us better serve you and our others users in the future.
Our site uses "cookies" and other tracking technologies. Cookies enable us to serve personalized pages to our users without asking them to sign in and allow us to know how visitors came to our site and in some cases to track what users do while on our site. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. You may choose to share content from Expeditions.com by sending emails via our share feature. Lindblad Expeditions does not store the email addresses you provide.

Lindblad Expeditions only uses your personal information for the original purposes it was given. Your personal information will not be sold to third parties.
Lindblad Expeditions will not disclose, use, give or sell any personal information to third parties for any purposes other than to our service providers, suppliers and other third parties who need to know in order to deliver services on behalf of, or to, Lindblad Expeditions unless required to do so by law. Further, Lindblad Expeditions reserves the right to contact you regarding matters relevant to the underlying service provided and/or the information collected.
Please note that personally identifiable information is used only to provide you with a more enjoyable, convenient online experience and to help us identify and/or provide information, products or services that may be of interest to you. This is collected in order to better understand our Web site usage, and enhance the performance of services to maintain and operate the Site and certain features on the Site. We may use third parties to host the Site; operate various features available on the Site; send emails; analyze data; provide search results and links and assist in fulfilling your requests.
Lindblad Expeditions contracts with other companies to provide certain services, including shipping, name and address verification, email distribution, market research, promotions management and payment, including credit card processing. We provide these companies with only the information they need to perform their services and work closely with them to ensure that your privacy is respected and protected. These companies are prohibited by contract from using this information for their own marketing purposes or from sharing this information with anyone other than Lindblad Expeditions.
