Susan is a Licensed Massage Therapist, qigong practitioner and passionate whale-watcher. She is fascinated with energy, and with the endlessly creative ability of our bodies - and our Earth - to seek balance. Her work embodies a spirit of curiosity, sensitivity and depth.
Susan spent most of her post-college years in New York City, where she had a private massage practice and also taught and guided kayaking on the Hudson River. Currently she spends her time off the ship in Central America and Portland, Oregon, enjoying nature, meditating, writing, reading, and eating lots of fresh veggies.
Susan has a variety of options to help you tap into your own notion of wellness. Her stretch classes and one-on-one treatment sessions derive mainly from the practices of qigong, acupressure, Reiki, CranioSacral Therapy, and deep tissue therapeutic massage. Wake up and stretch with her in the morning to loosen and invigorate your body and soul; have a private one-on-one session to explore ways to open and balance your body; melt deeply into yourself with a massage tailored specifically for you. Whatever you choose, Susan will help you experience wellness at your own pace.
