Expedition Team

Share the adventure with dedicated experts

In the 50+ years of our expedition history, the quality of our veteran staff is the reason the Lindblad name is known and respected for top-quality expeditions.

The team composition

Experience_ExpeditionTeam-SmHoriz.jpgEvery expedition sails with a veteran expedition leader and a team of naturalists with a variety of specialties: marine biology, ornithology, geology, botany, biology, history, and more. Other members of the team include a Lindblad-National Geographic certified photo instructor and an undersea specialist. Together they provide you with a greater understanding and appreciation for this exceptional swath of geography.

More specialties and personalities

Our 1-to-10 staff-to-guest ratio means you’ll sail with the benefit of experts of diverse backgrounds and the freedom to share the deck rail or head out on adventures with the naturalist whose interests mirror your own. You are never assigned to a specific group and you can choose from a variety of activity levels—to make each day of your expedition uniquely yours and deeply rewarding.
