Expedition Team

No more experienced polar team exists in travel

Our experienced expedition leader and team of eight naturalists are your conduit to an extraordinary experience. And the National Geographic photographer and Lindblad-National Geographic certified photo instructor onboard, ours exclusively, are there to help you capture the incredible wildlife photo ops. The undersea specialist will reveal the deep, while our wellness specialist helps you feel the “tonic of wildness.” And our video chronicler will record the entire voyage. Count on the Global Perspectives guest speaker to share the voyage and relevant insights with you.

  • Adrienne Bosworth

    Assistant Expedition Leader
Adrienne revels in rain and smoothly constructed sentences. Most days, she’d choose a rocky beach over a sandy one, and if possible would survive happily on smoked salmon. Working for Lindblad allows Adrienne unparalleled access to her home waters in Southeast Alaska, while basking in Central American sunshine in the winter months. She finds distinct satisfaction in wrangling expedition logistics both on board and ashore, and many of her most poignant wildlife experiences have been on Lindblad vessels.

  • Andreas Madsen

    Naturalist
Andreas was born in the village of Ebeltoft on the central east coast of Denmark and has spent his childhood years with the sea and open fields as neighbours. For a child of the North, fishing, bicycling, skiing, and hiking come along with your first steps and nature has always had a self-explanatory role in Andreas’ life. Between studies he left Denmark to travel and it was during his months in South America he discovered his curiosity and interest for geology. In 2013 he left Ebeltoft for the big(ger…) city Aarhus to begin his geology studies at Aarhus University. During his five years there he has been involved in different types of research projects, taking him to remote places such as Iceland, Svalbard, Greenland, and the Geographic North Pole. His latest research project, which investigates aspects of narwhal biology and ecology from a vessel in Scoresby Sound, Greenland, has been ongoing since 2017.
