Today National Geographic Endeavour II is visiting Fernandina Island, where we had one of the best encounters with marine iguanas. There are everywhere, sneezing, resting, basking under the morning sun—this place is amazing! Sea lions and flightless cormorants were in the area too, giving us the perfect position for taking pictures. After visiting Fernandina Island, it was time to go to explore the underwater world of this place. We lost the count of the sea turtles around us! It was an exceptional morning!
Then we headed to Isabela Island, where we did a Zodiac ride exploring the great geological formations and fauna of the area. Our captain and crew raised anchor and took us out to visit the equatorial line! Pirates arrived to the sky deck to entertain us during wine testing. From sunrise to sunset: perfection aboard National Geographic Endeavour II!
