Today on the National Geographic Venture, we spent the entirety of the day exploring the beautiful Sucia Island. Hikers strolled through the island’s lush woods and visited Fossil Bay, the location of a fossil bed more than 80 million years old. Meanwhile, our divers entered the water at the southern point. We were treated to close up views of playful river otters and capped the day off with a bonfire on the beach.
