Since 1998, Alberto Pfeifer has worked with the Business Council of Latin America - CEAL. He currently serves as the General Executive Coordinator, overseeing CEAL’s operations in 18 countries from Mexico to Argentina. He also serves as Executive Director of the largest chapter: Brazil.
Alberto Pfeifer is recognized as one of the greatest experts in foreign and international business in Latin America. He will give us a window into Brazil’s breathtaking ascent in the past decade and discuss his country’s future.
Between 2004 and 2006, he joined ILCE CEAL (Latin American Institute of Educational Communication) and developed a comprehensive study on "Best Practices" in Basic Education in America. The result of this joint effort was a compilation of 800 pages with 54 Best Practices - three for each of the 18 countries operated by CEAL. Alberto Pfeifer was responsible for leading this project.
Alberto has several degrees from the University of Sao Paulo, one of the most recognized universities in Brazil: Ph.D. in geography, master’s in economics, B.S. in agricultural engineering and law. He also graduated with a M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
