Allison has spent a few summers in Alaska and is thrilled to be back! She has traveled around the world for work and play, loves the outdoors, learning new things, eating good food, and practicing yoga. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Certified Health Coach. She draws on her background in wellness and hospitality to find ways to explore the world, connect to people, practice the healing arts, and grow.
Allison attended the National Holistic Institute in Oakland, California and is trained in both eastern and western modalities. Over the years she has practiced Shiatsu, Ayurveda Therapies, Thai Massage, Reiki, Swedish, and Deep Tissue techniques in the United States and around the world. She has also enjoyed teaching partner massage classes, regularly receives massage, and is an advocate for self-care.
Allison's yoga classes emphasize a well-rounded Hatha practice, in hopes of creating a nurturing environment for all to explore mindful movement, breath, grounding, and heart opening. She has been practicing since 1998 and completed her first Teacher Training in Thailand. She recently completed a Teacher Training in Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga in Mexico, and an Advanced Teacher Training with Ana Forrest in Seattle. Her classes are inclusive, fun, and designed to make you feel good!
Allison completed her Coaching Certification in Seattle with Vera University. Prior to her certification she was already coaching massage and yoga clients and worked as a Career and Admissions Counselor for the Cortiva Institute, Aveda Institute, and Art Institute of Seattle, helping students navigate enrollment, life, school, and choosing a job. She has a passion for helping people discover their potential, set goals, and create positive change.
