Diego Bermeo is a photographer and environmental communicator in the Galápagos National Park Directorate. Founder of the Young Photographers of Galápagos project, he uses photography as a tool for conservation and to enrich cultural identity with youth in protected areas. Diego is joined aboard this Galápagos Photo Expedition by a small group of the best students in the program. Young Photographers of Galápagos, which recently was awarded a Lindblad-National Geographic Fund community grant, has served several hundred Galápagos youth since 2014.
Diego lives with his family on the island of Santa Cruz in Galápagos.
