Co-founder and Executive Director of Minga Perú, Eliana Elias brings more than 20 years of experience working in communities in the Peruvian Amazon and other rural areas in Latin America—working to change lives through communications, women’s leadership and sustainable community development. She has consulted with hundreds of NGOs and indigenous groups involved with education, health, conservation and community development.
The LEX-NG Fund supports Minga and Eliana’s work in communities we visit aboard Delfin II in the Upper Amazon. A global leader in sustainable development, Eliana has been recognized by the University of El Paso–Texas, Clinton School for Public Service, Global Philanthropy Forum, Funders without Borders, and Funders for Human Rights. Minga Perú celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2018.
