Regina Bjarnadottir is the Head of Research at Arion Bank. Previously, she was a specialist in the Economics and Monetary policy department of the Central Bank of Iceland, a programme officer for UNDP in Guyana, and a consultant for CRU Strategies in London. Bjarnadottir has also worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Iceland and was the president of the National Committee of UN Women in Iceland.
She will discuss Iceland’s economic and banking system and the collapse, restructuring, rebuilding of the economy, and the future forecast of what will happen. Regína is fun to be around, and she’s planning to travel with her family and children; her husband is a philosopher at the University of Iceland and has just published a book on critical thinking and ethics.
