This Privacy Policy explains how Lindblad Expeditions, LLC (“Company”, “we” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you access or use our websites, mobile application, and other products and services (collectively, the “Services”), contact our customer service team, engage with us on social media, or otherwise interact with us, such as when you participate in one of our expeditions.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website homepage or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.

For example, we collect information when you request a reservation or a brochure, create an account, go on one of our expeditions participate in any interactive features of the Services (like send a message through the Services), fill out a form, participate in a contest or promotion, make a purchase, apply for a job, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, credit card and other payment information, government identification information (like passport information when you make a reservation), and any other information you choose to provide. We may collect information from you offline, such as when you speak on the phone with one of our expedition specialists or interact with us in person at an event or on-board a ship.

The Services may offer social sharing features (such as a button that allows you to “tweet” a link to one of our videos through your Twitter account) and other integrated tools, which let you share actions you take on our Services with other media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. We may allow third parties to provide analytics services and serve advertisements on our behalf across the web and in mobile applications. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked, and conversion information. They may also use these technologies, along with information they collect about your online activity, to recognize you across the devices you use, such as a mobile phone and a laptop. This information may be used by us and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Services and other websites, and better understand your online activity. Lindblad is based in the United States and we process and store information in the United States and other countries. Therefore, we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. If you are in the European Economic Area, we provide adequate protection for the transfer of personal data to countries outside of the EEA through a series of intercompany agreements based on the Standard Contractual Clauses authorized under EU law. If you would like to request to review, correct, update, suppress, restrict, or delete your personal information, object to the processing of your personal information, or if you would like to request to receive an electronic copy of your personal information for purposes of transmitting it to another company (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by applicable law), you may contact us at privacy@expeditions.com. In your request, please make clear what personal information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your personal information suppressed from our database, or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your personal information. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We respond to your request consistent with applicable law, and we will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.

Sale of Personal Information: Company does not, and will not, sell your identifying information, such as your name, email address, or phone number. We do share identifiers such as cookies and the advertising identifier associated with your mobile device with our advertising partners, and those partners use and share those identifiers to show you ads that are targeted to your interests. California consumers above the age of 16 have the right to opt out of these sales at any time. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request (1) more information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected and disclosed for a business purpose in the last 12 months, (2) deletion of your personal information, and (3) to opt out of sales of your personal information, if applicable.
