Delfin II visited a wonderful place along the Maranon Riverbank called “Amazonas Natural Park.” This is a remnant of primary forest which is privately owned and protected. Our guests enjoyed hiking into the dense rainforest, and also spent time walking on the suspended cable bridges observing the tree canopy.

In the afternoon we explored Nauta Creek under clear and sunny skies, using our skiffs to go as deeply into the creek as possible. Along the way we encountered night owl monkeys asleep in a tree trunk, as well as scarlet macaws flying over the canopy.
