Early in the morning, we headed out on our skiffs to visit a very special primary forest called Amazonas Natural Park. This is a privately owned property that allows tourist to have a full jungle experience, first crossing a black water lagoon by paddle on small wooden catamarans, and then hiking inside of a very diverse non-flooded forest. We finished exploring the canopy of trees on suspended cable bridges.

In the afternoon, we learned about the exotic and colorful fruits of the Amazon and visited another interesting creek called Nauta, where our guests observed lots of animals, from monkeys to Scarlet Macaws.
