We started the day on Bartolome Island with a pre-breakfast hike. From the top of the hill, we enjoyed one of the most amazing views of the Galapagos Islands: the Bartolome Pinnacle. After the hike, we visited a beach where guests had the opportunity to practice snorkeling for the first time. After gaining confidence, we swam to deeper water. About seven Galapagos penguins swam all around us. We returned to National Geographic Islander to prepare for our second opportunity to get in the water. This time, sharks, rays, and more Galapagos penguins visited us.

During the afternoon, we headed to Cerro Dragon, located on Santa Cruz Island. Our goal was to see Galapagos land iguanas, and we saw many all over the place.
