Today we continued exploring the Galapagos Archipelago and visited Floreana, or Charles Island. The island is being restored in one of the most ambitious projects the Galapagos National Park has ever attempted. I hope that in the near future we may have once again the Floreana giant tortoise, Floreana mockingbirds, and the mega-sperm prickly pear cactus that once upon a time were spread all over the Island.
