Today we woke up anchored at Floreana, a unique island in the south of the archipelago. We started our day with early activities, including kayaking and a wet landing on Post Office Beach. At the post office barrel, guests left behind postcards and took some to deliver once they return home. The tradition was started by whalers in the 1800s, and it continues today.

Our day continued with two amazing snorkels from two satellite islets of Floreana, Champion and Devil’s Crown. The diversity here is amazing due to the ocean currents, which create optimal conditions for all sorts of marine life. To end a wonderful day, we took a short walk at Cormorant Point. Located on the north side of the island, the peninsula is home to a great diversity of wildlife, from pink flamingos to striking Galapagos sharks!
