Today we had an incredible day filled with adventure and exciting wildlife encounters. We began with an optional kayak outing around Gardner Bay, and guests snorkeled with sea lions and large schools of colorful fish. We then had a relaxing walk along the beach where playful sea lions gave us many photo opportunities.
For lunch, we had an amazing Ecuadorian buffet followed by an exploration of Punta Suarez, one of the most incredible visiting sites of the islands in the Galapagos. Here we saw hundreds of marine iguanas, waved albatross birds, sea lions, Española lava lizards, endemic mockingbirds, snakes, and two species of boobies! It was an awesome day, and it is only the beginning of our expedition.
