This morning we arrived at Grindall Island State Marine Park where we had the opportunity to Zodiac cruise and to hike. Our morning was filled will all kinds of marine wildlife. During our Zodiac cruises we found humpback whales performing a cooperative feeding behavior called bubblenetting. Humpback whales are observed exhibiting this feeding behavior all over the world as individuals, but they only perform this as a group in Southeast Alaska. Once all guests were aboard, we were all able to watch this fantastic behavior from the bow of National Geographic Sea Lion.

In the afternoon we visited a floating facility known as Hump Island Oyster Farm where we learned about the operation and had the opportunity to taste their product!
