I woke up to the sound of the foghorn and as I came outside, I could barely see the tight channels of Wrangell Narrows. Luckily, the fog lifted by the time we dropped our Zodiacs for a morning tour of what I like to call the Ice Gardens, followed by hikes ashore at Cascade Creek in Thomas Bay.
