Today we awoke in the port of San Carlos. From there we bused into the gray whale capital of Baja California, Lopez Mateos. This sleepy town is the epicenter of gray whale watching, and so there was no better place to be as we embarked on pangas and headed off to spend some quality time with these beautiful animals.
