Today we toasted to our expedition at the point where the Maranon and Ucayali Rivers come together to become the Amazon. We also spotted a great number of animals, including a rainbow grasshopper, black collared hawks, bats, and a snowy egret! We had a wonderful opportunity to visit the Amazonas Community, which is supported by Lindblad-National Geographic’s conservation and economic development efforts.
