Today the guests on National Geographic Endeavour II started their activities in Floreana Island. Here we had an early morning walk along the beach at Punta Cormorant, where we spotted the blue-footed boobies nesting. It was amazing to see the olivine mineral painting the sand into green colors.

Breakfast was warm and ready for us when we returned to the ship, and we navigate to Champion Islet were we had the opportunity to go Zodiac cruising, looking for the endemic mockingbird. Then we jumped in to the water and we had an amazing snorkeling experience, with sea lions, fish and sharks!

The famous post office barrel was our meeting point in the afternoon, where we collected and left post cards, in order to continue with the tradition to hand-delivering them, just like the first visitors to the islands. To end the day, we had the chance to stay at the beach and relax, or for those ones who wanted more activity, paddleboarding and kayaking were excellent ways to enjoy the rest of the day light.
