This was our first day of the expedition, and everything has been amazing so far. We started our day with a walk along Punta Pitt trail. This is one of the few places in the Galapagos where it is possible to find the three different species of boobies that exist, all on one island, and everyone was able to see them. Those guests that preferred another option took a Zodiac ride along the cliffs and beaches around Punta Pitt, which also gave us wonderful bird watching opportunities. We finished our morning distributing snorkeling gear, and later we had our Ecuadorian buffet.

In the afternoon, we navigated south to Cerro Brujo. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galapagos, with a long white sandy beach where sea lions play and rest. To finish our day, we navigated around Kicker Rock, an impressive geological formation close to San Cristobal Island. We all enjoyed a wonderful sunset and the astonishing landscape.
