Merry Christmas! After landing at Playa del Coco village, we prepare for a morning of adventurous activities. Horseback riding, ziplining, and hiking in a volcanic wilderness await us in and around Rincon de la Vieja National Park! In this tropical dry forest, we enjoy a savannah landscape, fields of wildflowers and sugar cane dotted with shade trees. Locals enjoy a peaceful life, and clean energy provided by the geothermal features of the friendly neighborhood volcano.
