Today we woke up for an early pre-breakfast walk on Espumilla Beach in Santiago Island. We observed the three species of mangroves that exist in the Galapagos, and spotted different bird species such as flycatchers, blue-footed boobies and yellow warblers. After a delicious breakfast, kayakers and paddleboarders went along the shore, while other guests opted for a glass-bottom boat tour to view the wildlife living within the rocky reefs of Santiago Island. We ended our morning with a snorkeling session and immersed ourselves in the underwater world with its amazing rocky formations.

After lunch we visited Puerto Egas. This shoreline provides a beautiful backdrop for amateur and professional photographers alike. Guest had the chance to spend some time with sea lions basking in the sun, or swimming in the warm waters of the Puerto Egas. We finished our day with a delicious dinner served on the sky deck of National Geographic Endeavour II.
