Today brought us a chance to explore at Security Bay State Marine Park, spending all day venturing out both on water and on land in order to get to know this special place.

Bushwhackers broke a sweat moving up and down and around the forest. Meanwhile, kayakers and stand-up paddle boarders got a close-up look at the world underneath the water, even paddling along with a minke whale. It was a perfect gray and drizzly southeast Alaska day to get to know the temperate rainforest!
