Yanallpa and Dorado Rivers, 4/6/2022, Delfin II

  • Aboard the Delfin II
  • Amazon

Very early in the morning, we departed for a pre-breakfast exploration of Yanallpa Creek. Mother Nature rewarded our efforts. We enjoyed close encounters with wild monkeys and exotic birds.

In the afternoon, we explored El Dorado River by kayaks and skiffs. We observed tropical rain under the cover of massive trees. We heard the sounds of crickets, frogs, and birds looking for shelter. Later, we continued searching for nocturnal wildlife before returning to the ship.
