Dubrovnik and Mostar Pre-Voyage Extension

Day 1 - Dubrovnik, Croatia
Begin your adventure in lovely and lively Dubrovnik, where you’ll spend two nights at the elegant Grand Hotel Argentina, or similar. Dinner is on your own tonight after you check in to the hotel.
Day 2 - Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is regarded as the best‐preserved medieval town in the world. On a walking tour this morning, stroll marble paved streets to the 15th‐century Rector’s Palace and the Franciscan Monastery, then walk the ramparts that circle the town. After lunch, enjoy free time to explore on your own. Our local guides will be happy to recommend restaurants that offer regional specialties, as dinner is on your own tonight. (B,L)
Day 3 - Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Take a morning drive to historic Mostar, in Bosnia and Herzegovina—a beautiful town that spans the Neretva River and is famed for its Old Bridge. This spectacularly graceful bridge initially stood between 1556 and 1993, before it was destroyed during the Yugoslavian civil war. It was since been rebuilt using stone from the original quarries, and has been named—along with the surrounding Old Town—a UNESCO World Heritage site. Have dinner in a local restaurant with the group and stay in the Hotel Mostar or similar. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - Dubrovnik / Embark Ship
Take a morning walking tour of historic Mostar and enjoy additional free time to explore on our own. After lunch, drive along the Dalmatian Coast to historic Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, take a cable car ride to the top of Srdj Hill, for a classic panoramic view over the Old City of Dubrovnik and the Adriatic from some 1,300 feet above. Embark Sea Cloud II in the late afternoon. (B,L)
