Megan Rumsey

Born on the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River on the edge of Idaho and Montana, raised in the red desert outside Zion NP with more time spent in Wydaho than anywhere, Megan has been blessed to live among beautiful backdrops of outdoors and nature. Megan poured over National Geographic as a child and was equally invested in a subscription to Alaska Magazine. A family drive to Baja Sur injected her with endless fascination with Latin America. She later overlanded from San Diego to Costa Rica by bus. A bucket list was compiled! Before Megan completed her last semester for a degree in Liberal Arts in the Utah Mountains, she switched gears and summered in Denali, Alaska, wintered in Colorado, was a staff member at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in NY, and attended Massage Therapy School.

With over 20 years in Massage Therapy, she was Chair of Government Relations for American Massage Therapy Association/AMTA-WY and completed esthetics certification for licensure in 2015. Megan studied yoga in personal practice since her teens and completed YTT while living in Guanacaste, Costa Rica in 2009-2012 where she ran a hospitality business in Nosara. Megan is endlessly wanderlusting, trip planning, continually reading, trying new recipes -sans cookbook-, gardening, drawing, writing, driving dusty dirt roads, and enjoying all the while!
