Amazonas Natural Park & Nauta Creek, 4/11/2022, Delfin II

  • Amazon

Our first day of exploration in the Upper Amazon started with a hike in the deep forest. We walked around one of the very few areas that is not flooded at this time of the year. We found many beautiful invertebrates, flowers, and birds. We canoed along a small lake in the middle of the forest and got our first taste of the Amazon.

In the afternoon, we explored a narrow creek where we looked for wildlife. A heavy rain gave us the full experience of the tropical rain forest. When it cleared up, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
