After two very full days of explorations ashore, today we were at sea all day, which provided opportunities for sorting photos, learning new skills, or simply relaxing.  Staff members gave presentations on several topics related to Cuba:  the marine environment, history of Cuba, photography basics, and cave explorations.  On the top deck, Lazaro gave a lesson on how to play the classic Cuban game of Dominos. He coached an initial group of players, while several onlookers also learned strategy, and soon there were two tables playing the game. The day at sea was low key and enjoyable: Dominos and Scrabble, good conversation, visits to the bridge, and reading (while sipping a cool drink) filled time between presentations and meals. There was time to learn, play, and reflect. In the late afternoon, Harmony V anchored in Siguanea Bay at the west end of Isla de la Juventude in preparation for a full day ashore tomorrow.

Before dinner, we had a fun National Geographic Bee and tested our newfound knowledge about Cuba. Our evening finished up with after-dinner salsa lessons.
