In the late morning staff historian Godfrey Wettinger gave a lecture on the clash of religions in this region which was very thought provoking and stimulated many conversations.
During the night and the morning the Caledonian Star made exceptional speed, so we opted for an impromptu afternoon stop for swimming in the warm, salty waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It was also a great opportunity for kayaking along the shoreline. We were at the southwest corner of Isla Ibiza and the kayaking was stunning with clear blue waters and dramatic limestone rock formations. After a 3-hour stop it was time for recap and a dinner bbq on the deck as the sun set with a red glow and the full moon rose above the eastern horizon. Another fulfilling day on the Caledonian Star.
