Bartolome and Santiago Island

Having been severely sleep deprived from the trip to the wonderful Galápagos, we slept in until 8:30a.m. Being very excited to face what today had to bring, we quickly readied ourselves for breakfast, arrived in the breakfast lounge and had a wonderful breakfast. After attending the snorkeling orientation we readied ourselves for the trip to Bartolome Island for the hike and water experience. Some of our group enjoyed the entire hiking trail areas after which they explored the water. Others chose the snorkelling right away, which showed fish exhibiting themselves in the entire palate of colors found in the rainbow. Following the short trip back to the ship, lunch was served followed by a lesson in water colour painting. A couple of hours later we departed for James Island where we were treated to the bounty of wildlife—both flora and fauna – endemic to this Paradise on Earth Back to the ship to cocktails, dinner and the fraternization so important to us, we look forward to another beautiful day tomorrow… and the day after… and the day after…
