North Seymour Island
Our expedition is about to start. We are excited because new discoveries and sightings await us. We are curious for the birds we know have recently hatched, and the few week old baby sea lions of North Seymour. We want to witness how much they have grown in the past week, how they are doing. But above all we are looking forward to sharing this experience with our guests.
Furthermore, there is a detail that will make this a very special week - Jeopardy! The famous host of Jeopardy! Alex Trebek is on board, together with the Clue Crew and the 25 winners from Jeopardy!’s Galápagos Adventure Sweepstakes earlier this year. Galápagos was their prize, and each winner brought a companion. We are going to make sure that it is the trip of their lifetime!
We are also excited to welcome Eric Yang on board National Geographic Endeavour. He is the young bright winner of National Geographic’s 2009 National Geography Bee and will accompany us this week, together with his mom.
New people, new friends, a Jeopardy! trip. It will be fun, it will be educational! It is Lindblad Expeditions and the National Geographic Society! This is a true expedition to the Galápagos Islands.
