Idaho Inlet, Fox Creek, Shaw Islands, & Inian Islands

A wake up call in the morning, found most of us groggy,
Out on deck, mist covered mountains; it was foggy.

Taking in the scenery, stretching, or drinking coffee
Curious Sea Otters drifting by in rafts, or what I like to call a posse.

Ashore for a walk in the woods at Fox Creek,
There were multiple things to see, many things to seek.

Wild-flowers in bloom, perennial bear tracks in the mud,
My legs are heavy, my boots are covered in crud.

A paddle around the Islands, seals and otters we saw,
The grouping of islands we navigated have the name of Shaw.

Humpbacks all around us, one of the breaches quite near,
They blew and they dove, the sound of their trumpets was most clear.

A Zodiac cruise through the Inian Islands wasn’t to be missed.
Sea lions, humpbacks, we watched them as they fished.

We said goodbye to the Sea Lions, even though they still wanted to play.
Our voyage is off to a great one, it was a spectacular day.
