Isla Danzante
What an incredible week we have spent here in Baja California. We started on the Pacific side of the Baja California peninsula in the gray whale birthing and breeding lagoons of Magdalena Bay. We ended in the Gulf of California, just south of Isla del Carmen in calm blue waters sprinkled with blue whales and breaching humpbacks.
Inspiration has surrounded us, from the contours, colors and layers of the landscape to the unbridled exuberance of the wildlife. Our fellow travelers were asked to share some of their special memories. We hope they inspire you to discover Baja California for yourself.

I See
I see a gray log
As it spouts water into the air
I see a pointy leaf on a log
Then comes a tail
Wait a minute, it’s a whale!
