Genovesa Island

Visiting Genovesa island makes me think how our planet once was, an unaltered place. A long time ago, thousands of years ago, all organisms lived life in peace. This is how it should be. Today on Genovesa, watching all these birds and other animals makes me feel part of it. Watching a parent Nazca booby protecting and caring for its chick, so close to the trail, made me, and all of us feel part of it.

As the impact of man upon the Earth increases dramatically, we have become more aware of the need to control the effects of our social and industrial habits. We are still on time to understand our present relationship with our environment and how it has come about.

There is one thing that we all have in common – we all share the same planet. It is time for some of us, human beings, to learn and teach and advise on how to manage our home and insure its future and with it, our own.

Living life in peace, reducing pollution, and showing respect for Mother Nature and its enchantment.
