"We need the tonic of wildness,” wrote Henry David Thoreau in 1854. These magical islands constitute a real ocean of peace where this tonic can be found. The peace and harmony that reigns in Galapagos are probably one of the many reasons why this magical archipelago has become one of the world’s best-loved nature travel destinations. Everywhere you look you can encounter the friendliness and the ecological naiveté of the animal and bird inhabitants. Spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views are ideal backgrounds for all of them. The impact that this natural paradise provokes in our guests is awe-inspiring and to some extent beyond explanation. Today was no exception many of us experienced a first-class close encounter with bottle-nosed dolphins. These cetaceans were jumping cheerfully and bow riding right in front of our Zodiacs!
