Floreana Island

Expedition means adventure, it is a trip to learn and to discover, having fun but taking in as much as possible from the place visited. And it is exactly what our guests are doing, absorbing the Galapagos Islands in their total expression. Either in the rain, or in sunny days, with waves or calm waters, we explore it all, and we learn about it all.

This archipelago experiences two fairly distinct seasons each year. Warm ocean currents sweeping southward from the direction of Panama, typically January through May, cause the warm season. These currents produce both sea and air temperatures around the islands to rise. This is the time when the skies can be clear, and suddenly change to heavy showers. It is when the lowland vegetation reaches its peak. This is the time when we enjoy the Galapagos flowers in bloom.

Each season has its highlights, but whichever one it may be, it is always a full experience in the Galapagos, and we are certainly enjoying it all.
