Genovesa Island
Another wonderful week is coming to an end. But, I wonder: It is really ending?.. In some way, personally, I do not think so. I think it is just the beginning of a long-term friendship. The memories and sensations a trip to the Galapagos Islands can evoke in their visitors are truly perennial. The inner peace you can find here will be forever in your hearts. When we are on the islands we can not avoid being charmed by their magic. When we are away from the islands, it is the time when we start thinking about how really spectacular they are. The closeness to the animals, their ecological naiveté, together with indescribable landscapes can mark lives forever. You can meet amazing creatures like the one pictured today. This juvenile frigate bird seems to be smiling to the camera.
In the years I have been interpretating this unique archipelago, I have seen many visitors come back, not only once, but in many cases several times. It is so rewarding to be able to see friends again. I call all the visitors my friends. Friends in a common cause, the admiration and conservation of natural protected areas. This week has not been the exception. Many new friends visiting us in the Polaris this week have added to our cause. The most wonderful paradise is waiting for you. Come and become one of our friends!
