The underwater world of Galapagos is as rich and astonishing as the places that we discover in each and every one of our walks on land. Therefore, it is hard to choose a picture for the web site. All of what we see is new to our eyes, and is a precious source of amazement and of knowledge.
However, if we had to choose among the creatures we saw today, sea lions would undoubtedly be the kings of our guests’ hearts. It is hard not to fall in love with these charming marine mammals that do not miss a single chance to show off and constantly remind us of how graceful they are in their three dimensional world.
Yellow-tailed surgeonfish, king angelfish, white tipped reef sharks, and the sun sea star are some of the other jewels we observed on our snorkeling and glass bottom boat excursion. Flamingoes, small beaked ground finches and common stilts were the gems seen on our afternoon walk. But sea lions are the kings of them all!
